The Treedom #2

The Treedom is an emblematic installation initially designed for a festival. (See The Treedom - Sziget Festival) It has been commissioned here by MMDC* in the city of Memphis, TN USA. The aim is to create a gathering place, a landmark as a ‘‘rendez-vous’’ to host the events organised by the Medical District. The installation, only for day use this time stands up for 1 year between 2018 and 2019 on a vacant lot hosting various local events.

The Treedom est une installation emblématique conçue à l’origine pour un festival. (voir The Treedom - Sziget Festival) Elle a été ici commandée par la ville de Memphis, TN aux Etats-Unis. L’objectif est de créer un lieu de rendez-vous et de rassemblement pour accueillir les événements organisés par le Medical District (organisation de quartier chargée de faire vivre le quartier des hôpitaux avec ses habitants). L’installation entièrement en bois restera un an entre 2018 et 2019 sur une parcelle libre du Medical District et accueillera diverses manifestations.
